CGF invests in technology businesses that are driving the transition to Net Zero through developing disruptive products and services. CGF invests across a number of target sectors where we see the greatest potential for carbon savings including power, buildings, transport, industry and waste. CGF focuses on early stage, clean growth companies based in the UK with a global outlook and scalable solutions and business models and makes investments at the Seed to Series A stage with initial investment sizes of £0.5m to £3m.
We have decades of experience in commercialisation and scale-up of clean technologies and our team draws on networks across ¬finance, industry and government. Our portfolio companies bene-fit from support in areas including IP, manufacturing and growth strategies and we place emphasis on developing long-term and rewarding partnerships. CGF has already invested in an exciting portfolio of early-stage companies - Carbon Re, Indra, Piclo, tepeo, Holiferm, Above Surveying and Sunswap and aims to double its portfolio over the next 12 months.
