Over 8,400 companies with over 50% of global market capitalization disclosed environmental data through CDP in 2019. This is in addition to the over 920 cities, states and regions who disclosed, making CDP’s platform one of the richest sources of information globally on how companies and governments are driving environmental change. Carbon Forward is an organisation focused on designing events that have the goal of improving companies' understanding of environmental markets with an emphasis on emissions trading, globally. Since its inaugural conference in 2016, it has become the organiser of Europe's largest carbon markets conference.
The Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA) was established in 2006 to represent the interests of its members in promoting the business of capture and geological storage of carbon dioxide (known as Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage, or CCUS) as a means of abating atmospheric emissions of carbon dioxide. From its base in London the CCSA brings together specialist companies in manufacturing & processing, power generation, engineering & contracting, oil, gas & minerals as well as a wide range of support services to the energy sector such as law, banking, consultancy and project management.
The Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership (LowCVP) was established in 2003. It is a public-private partnership working to accelerate a sustainable shift to lower carbon vehicles and fuels and create opportunities for UK business. Around 200 organisations are engaged from diverse backgrounds including automotive and fuel supply chains, vehicle users, academics, environment groups and others. The Partnership is a not-for-profit company.
