Nicolas Vaniet heads up the financing and treasury front-office team of LafargeHolcim, the world’s global leader in building solutions with 70,000 employees across more than 70 markets. Nicolas has responsibility globally for capital market funding, relationships with banks and rating agencies, financial risk hedging and corporate cash management. He started his career in 1998 at the French oil major Total, in financial and internal control before moving to Deloitte where he spent three years as a senior consultant in Paris.
At Lafarge, Nicolas occupied several positions within its group treasury function: deputy international treasurer from 2004 to 2006, deputy head long-term financing from 2006 to 2008, head long-term financing until the merger with Holcim in 2015. In the new group LafargeHolcim, Nicolas was head of financing and international treasury until he took his current position in 2019.
He holds a Master degree with a major in finance from Reims Management School and received his international MBA from the University of Ottawa.
