Joe Dutton is Energy Innovation Lead at AXIS. He leads internal research on the energy transition, climate technology and plays a pivotal role in  assessing suitable risks for AXIS Energy Transition Syndicate 2050. He has worked on U.K. and European energy policy, technology, and markets for almost 15 years, across various roles in consultancy, academia and think tanks. Before joining AXIS, he worked at climate change and carbon consultancy South Pole, and at energy and climate think tank E3G where he led research programmes on energy infrastructure, climate and decarbonisation policy, and the future of energy systems under net zero.
