Julia Giannini
Julia Giannini is an established corporate sustainability specialist in sustainable business transformation to drive long term business value, resilience and real world action. As former Group Head of Environment and Climate Action at Bupa, Julia led the team to develop Bupa’s Net Zero by 2040 ambition and the 1.5 degree aligned science based targets, shaped the sustainability strategy, and worked cross-functionally across the international business to collaboratively establish the transformative actions to deliver success. Prior to Bupa, Julia developed and led the Climate Action strategy at ITV, establishing the business’s first industry leading climate action targets including Net Zero by 2030, and embedding climate action throughout the organisation. Julia has held roles at leading corporate sustainability and social purpose consultancies, leading on sustainability strategy, engagement and programme development, and was a marketeer at Unilever. Julia holds a MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, specialised in Business and Environment. Outside of work, Julia is a member of a dance company and a keen tennis player.
