Since Sibbe’s appointment in 2022, Bloom & Wild has formulated its plan to reach net zero, joined the B Corp community, pioneered bouquets designed and sourced to a carbon budget, introduced organic bouquets as well as 100% mixed Fairtrade bouquets, and is currently trialling sea over air freight, which has the potential to be a game changer for climate action.

Prior to joining, he has a background working on development projects in Africa, mostly in the fields of water and sanitation, education and governance as well as advising organisations including NGOs and government bodies in his subsequent role as a strategy consultant. He went on to combine this broad experience with his passion for sustainability and development, and joined IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative. Here he worked on tackling challenging sustainability issues within global supply chains, working with companies including Unilever, Apple, Nike and Philips, on social, environmental, and occupational health and safety issues across Africa, Asia, and Europe.
